AIRPORT

Lisbon Portela Airport, also known as Lisbon Airport is located 7 km (4.3 mi) northof Castle of São Jorge in the city of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.  This is the most important international gateway in Portugal and a hub for Europeans. It is also known as one of the largest airports in southern Europe. The airport has two terminals, the main building, now called Terminal 1 and a new terminal for domestic flights, completed and opened in August 2007.
